Focus and Scope

EKOPOLIS: Journal of Political Ecology, Social Justice, and Human Rights is a multidisciplinary academic journal that publishes original research and critical studies on the relationship between power, environment, development, and human dignity. The journal aims to promote scholarly discussion that supports ecological sustainability, social justice, and the protection of human rights.

EKOPOLIS welcomes articles that examine environmental, political, legal, economic, and socio-cultural issues from critical and applied perspectives. Contributions are expected to provide theoretical insight, empirical evidence, and policy relevance related to ecological and social problems.
